In 1893, starting on January 24th and lasting until February 25th, "Black Week" can only be described as a series of distressing events, including forbidden love, embezzlement, and murder in the city of Atlanta, Georgia.

August 18th, 2012, was just like any other day for Nancy Howard, spending most of her day at church. When she arrived home that evening, she was confronted by a man who demanded her purse and then shot her in the face. Miraculously, she survived and was able to see justice served in the failed attempt against her life.
